These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the EstatesHelp website and platform located at www.estateshelp.com (the "Platform").
The Platform is operated by EstatesHelp ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
EstatesHelp provides online tools designed to assist individuals in navigating the estate administration and probate process. The Platform may provide:

EstatesHelp is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Information provided through the Platform is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal advice.
Use of the Platform does not create an attorney-client relationship between the user and EstatesHelp.
Users should consult a licensed attorney for legal advice regarding their specific situation.
EstatesHelp uses Column Software, PBC ("Column") to place public notices and generate affidavits of publication in newspapers. End users pay Column directly via an invoice link generated by Column’s API.
EstatesHelp and Column do not provide legal advice of any kind.

Neither EstatesHelp nor Column is responsible for whether a newspaper accepts, publishes, or correctly publishes your notice. We make no guarantees about the legal sufficiency of any notice or affidavit.
You should consult with a qualified attorney regarding the legal requirements for your public notice.
The Platform may reference financial, tax, or investment considerations related to estate administration. Such information is general information only and does not constitute:
Users should consult qualified professionals for advice regarding their financial or tax circumstances.
The Platform may introduce users to third-party professionals or service providers ("Vendors"). These may include attorneys, financial advisors, banks, tax professionals, and others.
EstatesHelp:
Any engagement between a user and a Vendor is solely between those parties.
Users agree to:
Users remain solely responsible for filing documents with courts and complying with all legal deadlines.
The Platform may generate probate forms based on information entered by the user.
EstatesHelp does not guarantee that generated documents will be accepted by any court. Courts may require additional documentation, corrections, or filings.
Users remain responsible for verifying that documents meet all court requirements.
Certain features, including public notice placement, may require payment to third-party providers such as Column. All pricing is clearly disclosed prior to purchase. Payments made directly to third-party providers (such as Column) are governed by that provider’s terms and are generally non-refundable once the service has been initiated.
Use of the Platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how user information is collected and used.
By using the Platform, users consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Users may not use the Platform to:
The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
All content on the Platform, including software, design, text, branding, trademarks, and document templates, is owned by EstatesHelp or its licensors.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify Platform materials without permission.
To the extent required by North Carolina law (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 84-2.2), we do not disclaim any warranties or liability, and we do not limit the recovery of damages or other remedies available to consumers. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable North Carolina law.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless EstatesHelp and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from misuse of the Platform, inaccurate information submitted, or violation of these Terms.
EstatesHelp may suspend or terminate user access at any time if these Terms are violated. Users may stop using the Platform at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For consumers in North Carolina, any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with North Carolina law and in a North Carolina court of competent jurisdiction.
EstatesHelp may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Each blank template offered to North Carolina consumers has been reviewed by a North Carolina-licensed attorney, including each and every potential part thereof that may appear in the completed document.
These forms and templates are not a substitute for the advice or services of a licensed attorney.
